1962

In Sykkylven, Sunnmøre, trials with farming trout and salmon had been running for several years.

Experts believed conditions along our coast were well suited. A report from the hatchery and fish farm in Sykkylven — interviewer: Sverre Tinnå, reported by Lasse Thorseth. Small tanks, manual work and patience — this is where it began. The fjord has always been the workplace: cold, clean water and communities that lived from the sea.

Today

We are a team from Sykkylven with a burning passion for fish and shellfish.

Our ambition is to make fish and shellfish easier to source — efficiently, reliably and without unnecessary hassle — for large importers around the world.

There are no aquaculture facilities in Sykkylven today, but we are surrounded by deep fjords where fish farming and wild fisheries have long been part of the local landscape. Our appreciation for fish and seafood runs deep, and the region’s own history of seafood production is an important part of what drives the work we do.
